GP Partner position due to planned retirement; 6 sessions/week with alternative arrangements possible for the right candidate.
Job responsibilities
As a GP Partner, you will play a pivotal role in clinical care and strategic leadership. You will be involved in shaping the future of the practice, contributing to decision-making, and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate healthcare. The management team meets weekly and shares non-clinical partnership responsibilities with regular protected administrative time. There will be opportunities to take on clinical and management leadership in an area of interest.
You will be supported by a full induction period, regular mentoring sessions, and access to relevant training courses.
We are a Training and Dispensing practice with a list of around 7,500 patients, in the centre of a beautiful village in the Weald of Kent with good commuter links to London.
We have a strong team of doctors, allied professionals and ARRS staff, a proven track record in delivering education and training, and a culture that supports staff wellbeing and patient care.
Salary and terms: depending on experience. 6 weeks annual leave. Permanent contract. Working pattern: full-time.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the GP Register. MRCGP qualification or equivalent.
* At least 2 years post-CCT experience as a GP in a UK general practice, with proficiency in managing a wide range of primary care conditions, including chronic diseases, acute presentations, and preventive care.
* Competence in addressing the healthcare needs of a semi-rural population (elderly care, paediatrics and mental health) and ability to coordinate with local community services (e.g., district nurses, pharmacies, acute trusts).
* Experience or strong interest in practice management, including QOF/Local Contract delivery, CQC compliance, and contributing to practice strategy and development. Ability to supervise/support other clinical team members (e.g., paramedic practitioners and nursing team).
Desirable
* Additional expertise in areas such as dermatology, women’s health, joint injections, or minor surgery to support service offerings and local demand.
* Experience or enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring, as the practice supports medical students and GP trainees.
