Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements: We require proven experience building and operating production-grade cloud platforms, ideally in secure or regulated environments. We require strong hands-on experience with AWS and hybrid cloud environments. We require experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible. We require experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and source control platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Atlassian tools. We require experience with container platforms including Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, or AKS. We require familiarity with modern data or event-driven systems such as Kafka or Flink. We require a practical DevOps mindset and the ability to work on complex, security-focused systems. We require the ability to work in highly regulated environments and support the highest level of security clearance requirements. We require experience combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities. Responsibilities: We design, build, and operate secure cloud environments that support batch and real-time data platforms. We deliver cloud infrastructure and platforms using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD. We design secure environments aligned to DevSecOps and zero trust principles. We support production systems, including incident resolution, maintenance, and ongoing reliability improvements. We contribute to solution design, automation, and continuous improvement across the platform. We act as technical leads within the team, providing direction and helping shape engineering standards. We mentor other engineers and support the development of the wider team. We work across the full delivery lifecycle from design and build through deployment, optimisation, and support.
