The Role As a Learning Development Academic Mentor, you will support Senior Leader Level 7 apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey. You will ensure learners are effectively inducted, motivated, progressing well, and receiving timely feedback in line with apprenticeship standards and university expectations. Key responsibilities include: Supporting onboarding of new apprentices and ensuring eligibility requirements are met. Contributing to induction activities and helping learners transition into their programme. Monitoring learner engagement, progress, and achievement through regular reviews. Providing high-quality personal, academic, and professional mentoring. Delivering workshops, tutorials, and learning development activities. Providing detailed, constructive feedback to help learners meet apprenticeship standards. Ensuring compliance with internal governance and external regulatory expectations. Collaborating with academic and professional services colleagues to support learner success. Supporting academics in peer review and teaching development initiatives. Enhancing apprentice experience, satisfaction, and employability outcomes. Assisting the Faculty with strategic objectives and continuous improvement. Contributing to efficient administration of apprenticeship programmes. Representing the University at recruitment, marketing, outreach, and public engagement events. Participating in visits to schools, community groups, employers, and other stakeholders. Candidate Profile Master's and/or PhD in Business, Management, or Leadership-related subjects. At least two years of industry experience in a related role. Proven experience in learning development coaching or mentoring. Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary business and leadership practices.
