Responsibilities
* Repair, maintain, and service commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems.
* Conduct fault‑finding and diagnostics to ensure the efficient operation of commercial gas systems.
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑quality services to council properties and facilities.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Participate in overtime opportunities as required to meet project deadlines and client needs.
Qualifications
* Valid commercial gas tickets (essential).
* Ideally, an NVQ qualification or a strong engineering background.
* Proven experience in maintaining and repairing commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems.
* A proactive and mission‑driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering excellence.
* A full UK driving licence.
Day‑to‑Day
* Travel to various sites across Hertfordshire and North East London to carry out maintenance and repair tasks.
* Diagnose and resolve issues with commercial gas systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
* Keep detailed records of work completed and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Engage with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
