Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Position Overview
* Setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision‑engineered components.
* Interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production documentation.
* Adjusting machine settings and tooling to achieve optimum machining performance.
* Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances and specifications.
* Carrying out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
* Working closely with colleagues to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
* Accurately recording production data and manufacturing activities.
* Ensuring compliance with company health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator within a precision engineering environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
* Experience with grinding, milling, and tooling operations is advantageous.
* Familiarity with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is beneficial.
* Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
Remuneration & Working Hours
* £35,000 - £40,000 base salary (DOE).
* Performance‑related bonus structure.
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:30.
* Friday: 08:00-15:30.
