Overview
Softcat invites you to join our Asset Intelligence Services team as an ITAM Technical Services Manager. You will lead a high‑performing technical team, providing first and second line support and consultancy services around asset management tooling.
Responsibilities
* Responsible and accountable for all technical/support escalations within the team.
* Work with senior stakeholders within vendors to triage, elevate and resolve client support queries, ensuring SLA compliance.
* Lead technical quarterly business reviews for strategic ITAM vendors, providing constructive feedback.
* Stay ahead of new product technology and service offerings through vendor training and market research.
* Drive improvements and introduce innovative ways of working.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role within an IT Services organisation, with management experience.
* Experience running an IT services team, preferably in asset management.
* Good understanding of IT Asset Management technology and tooling.
* Technical experience with Software Asset Management tools such as Snow Software, ServiceNow, Xensam (Desirable).
* Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
* Self‑sufficient, innovative and able to lead a team.
* Creative, self‑start approach to leading a team and service.
