Job Title: Chef Manager Location Basingstoke, Hampshire Salary £32,200 per annum Working Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 2:30pm Every 3rd Saturday: 7:00am - 12:00pm Role Overview We are seeking a Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations. This role is chef‑focused first, managerial second - your primary responsibility is cooking high‑quality meals with speed and precision. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a busy catering environment, ensuring consistency, safety, and efficiency. This position does not involve cash handling. Your focus will be on delivering excellent food and maintaining smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a high standard. Ensure meals are produced quickly and efficiently to meet service demands. Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards at all times. Oversee kitchen operations and support staff when required. Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations. Organise kitchen workflow to deliver meals on time. Take pride in the food produced and continuously look for improvements. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a chef, ideally with some supervisory or managerial exposure. Strong culinary skills with the ability to work at speed without compromising quality. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to lead by example and support junior staff when needed. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Positive, proactive attitude with pride in the food you create.
