We are seeking a Clinical Leader for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation. You should be registered with the appropriate governing body and possess relevant qualifications and post-registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics, including roles such as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. As a clinical leader, you will provide strong clinical guidance, lead your team with a shared vision, and promote innovation and sustainability. Good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential, along with knowledge of running a smooth and effective department and equipment management.
As our Clinical Leader, you will:
* Organize and oversee the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy teams within the theatre, ensuring smooth operation of theatre lists, managing booking forms, and assisting during theatre sessions.
* Collaborate flexibly across theatre suites to meet service demands in departments such as Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gynaecology.
* Promote effective clinical risk management and governance, including safety, quality improvement, and adherence to policies and procedures to enhance patient care and service delivery.
* Possess extensive knowledge of audits and equipment management.
* Demonstrate understanding of surgical techniques and related equipment.
* Have opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, including Surgical First Assist training.
