In your first year, you’ll train with a specialist provider to gain essential manufacturing skills before joining our Burton Brewery site.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
This programme is designed to prepare future engineering technicians to tackle real-world challenges, maintaining complex machinery while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll rotate through departments, receive hands-on training, and be supported by a dedicated mentor. Alongside practical experience, you’ll study toward nationally recognised qualifications, including a BTEC Level 3 and potentially an HNC Level 4 in Engineering – building a strong foundation for a confident, capable, and safety-conscious career in the industry.

GCSE in:
Maths, English, Science (grade 5 GCSE (grades 4-9) Maths(6-9))
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
