Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician – Step Up into HGV!
1. Location: Coalville
2. Salary: Up to £40,000 Depending on Experience
3. Hours: Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm (40 hours per week) + Overtime Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician to join a specialist engineering company based in Coalville.
This position would suit an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to take the next step into the HGV and specialist equipment industry, working on advanced sewer cleaning and wastewater equipment within a growing and highly skilled workshop team.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician:
12. Maintain, service, and repair specialist HGV body equipment
13. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
14. Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance work
15. Complete service and compliance documentation accurately
16. Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
17. Work safely and efficiently within the workshop environment
18. Support ongoing training and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements that the Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician:
19. Experience working on HGVs, LCVs, or commercial vehicles
20. Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
21. Confident carrying out diagnostics and fault finding
22. Full UK driving licence essential
23. Reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure
24. Strong communication and customer service skills
25. Team player with a positive attitude towards learning and development
