HGV Class 2 Driver – LeicesterPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver – Leicester to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire .This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and opportunities to grow and progress within a busy transport operation.This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or Truck Driver.Shifts• Monday to Friday • 06:00 – 16:00Rates of Pay• £15.29 per hourBenefitsAs a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts availableDay-to-Day DutiesAs a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Delivering goods to customer locations in line with planned routes • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Adhering to all traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management • Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time • No heavy lifting involvedEssential SkillsAs a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Licence • Minimum six months Class 2 driving experience • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements • No major endorsement codes • Good level of spoken and written English • Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations • Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills • Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial • Multi-drop delivery experience advantageousTraining Provided• Industry-related training provided • Ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are ready to take the next step in your driving career, apply today with your CV or contact our recruitment team for further information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
