Working Pattern: Full-time, including 1 in 3 weekends

With major investment, extensive redevelopments, and a dynamic leisure refurbishment underway, Freshney Place is transforming into a vibrant, day-to-night hub — boosting the night-time economy and reinventing the customer experience.
As Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of this transformation.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading the total facilities management of the centre, including oversight of hard and soft services contractors
* Working closely with service partners to drive high standards in safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation
* Supporting the management of the service charge budget to deliver value and efficiency
* Playing a key role in enhancing the customer journey from first impression to final farewell
* Ensuring a consistently excellent visitor experience — day and night
* Supporting key projects and initiatives as the centre evolves, including redevelopment and maintenance works
* Working 1 in every 3 weekends, sharing responsibility with an experienced and collaborative management team
🧩 What We’re Looking For:
* A confident, proactive leader with a background in facilities or operations management – retail, leisure, or property sector experience preferred
* Strong budget management and contractor coordination experience
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
* A commitment to customer service excellence and site safety
* A team player with a hands-on attitude and strategic mindset
