Job Description
3. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
4. Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
5. Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
6. Support the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
7. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
10. Provide support during internal and external audits as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Working towards a relevant finance qualification.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
15. Experience in the Property industry would be advantageous but not essential.
16. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an accounting & finance environment.
