Overview
Bradley Environmental Consultants is recruiting a qualified Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to develop health and safety services at our Head Office in Halesowen, West Midlands. This role offers a rewarding position within a dynamic and evolving built environment compliance business.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide a wide range of Health and Safety consultancy services both to our clients and internally to our business.
* Provision of Health and Safety Policies, Risk Assessments and Audits for clients and to meet our own internal Health and Safety needs.
* Undertake Type 1 & 3 Fire Risk Assessments across a range of property types.
* Offer and provide technical fire safety advice and practical solutions to our clients.
* Carry out works in line with PAS79 and other relevant Health & Safety guidance.
* Attend client meetings to provide Health, Safety and Fire Management advice.
* Deliver a range of Health, Safety and Fire Safety courses.
* Provide Building Evacuation Plans.
* Ongoing development of Health, Safety and Fire Management services to our clients.
* Train and develop junior staff to deliver full range of services to clients and assist in our own Health and Safety Management of our growing business.
Person Specification
* A minimum of two years industry experience in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health and Safety Consultancy services.
* Hold as a minimum the NEBOSH General and Fire Certificates and/or other nationally recognised qualifications certified through the Institution of Fire Engineers, the Fire Protection Association or the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.
* Knowledge and ability to write detailed technical reports.
* Up to date knowledge of current health and safety and fire safety regulations, legislation, technical standards and best practice.
* BAFE validator experience would be desirable, along with IFA/IFSM membership and third‑party accreditation with the Institution of Fire Engineers register, or be committed to joining.
* Flexible approach to working hours.
* Full driving licence.
* IT literate (experience of TEAMS would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided).
* Ability to work as part of a team and make decisions to continually develop team members and services provided to clients.

Join Fee
Bradley Environmental Consultants will pay a £4,000.00 joining fee to qualified candidates who remain employed for a minimum of 12 months.
