Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer (Medical devices) - Outside IR35
Location: Leeds

12 month contract- Outside IR35
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support a leading medical device organisation. These roles are ideal for engineers looking to take the next step in their career or pursue a new challenge in 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support, maintain, and optimize manufacturing systems within a regulated medical device environment.
* Work with a range of automation and control technologies, including PLCs, camera inspection systems, and factory automation infrastructure.
* Perform computer system validation activities in compliance with applicable regulations.
* Configure, manage, and maintain manufacturing databases and IT network integrations.
* Interpret and work from engineering drawings to support system upgrades, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Technical degree or background (Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar).
