Charles & Ivy is the UK's leading composite fencing and decorative screens brand. Our products are weather-proof, UV and mould resistant, low maintenance and backed by a long warranty. Based in Manchester, we run our own delivery fleet. Our aesthetic is modern yet timeless. We're expanding our digital capability and are looking for an Ecommerce Executive to help scale our online performance.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Eccomerce, this role is responsible for product set-up, website updates, content optimisation, and coordination across teams to ensure a seamless customer journey. You'll work closely with our marketing, creative, and operations teams to keep our ecommerce platform fresh, accurate, and conversion-ready. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone highly organised, detail-focused and eager to build experience in a fast-paced digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Listing Management
* Upload and maintain accurate product listings across the ecommerce site
* Ensure detailed, error-free descriptions, specifications, categories and imagery
* Regularly update product availability, stock levels, and pricing
Product Content & SEO
* Write and optimise product titles, descriptions and meta tags for search performance
* Collaborate with CGI artists and creative teams to ensure imagery is correct and on-brand
* Review and update content to support campaign messaging and seasonal trends
Pricing & Promotions
* Support the planning and execution of promotional activity and price changes
* Help manage product bundles and configurations via Linnworks
Customer Experience
* Ensure product accuracy to minimise customer queries and returns
* Liaise with the customer service team to resolve product-related issues promptly
Website & Platform Management
* Manage backend product setup via ecommerce CMS
* Test and monitor live listings to ensure a smooth user experience
* Raise and track technical issues with web developers as needed
Product Launches
* Support the launch of new products with coordinated uploads, content and pre-launch checks
* Align with marketing on campaign timing, product highlights and feature pages
Experience & Requirements
* 2+ years' experience in ecommerce or digital merchandising
* Comfortable working with ecommerce CMS platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento)
* Solid understanding of SEO, content creation and product setup
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Familiarity with tools like Linnworks or similar is a bonus
* A proactive communicator who enjoys collaboration across teams
