Alway Primary School is an English-medium, community-maintained school and provides education for children aged between 3 years and 11 years. It sits within the Llanwern cluster of primary schools. The school has two dedicated learning resource base classes to support pupils with additional learning needs. The school currently has just under 400 pupils on roll.
