Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in Sale (M33). This setting supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Many students display challenging behaviour, and personal care may be required. Role Overview: Full-time, long-term position with potential for permanent placement Supporting students aged 11 - 19 with diverse and complex needs Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff Providing 1:1 and small group support Assisting with personal care routines when necessary Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young adults with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs Calm, patient and confident in managing challenging behaviour Comfortable with personal care responsibilities Team player with a proactive and compassionate approach Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) Qualifications (desirable but not essential): Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Team Teach or equivalent behaviour management training Experience in care, youth work, or psychology What We Offer: Competitive daily rates Ongoing CPD and training opportunities...
