Administrative Officer - Birmingham City Centre
Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility required)
£12.34 per hour
Temporary assignment with potential to extend
Initially fully onsite - hybrid working available after training (60% onsite)
Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and a confident communicator? We're recruiting an Administrative Officer to support a busy Public Sector department in the heart of Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurate data entry and maintaining records
2. Handling correspondence via email, letter, text, and phone
3. Conducting searches for deposits, transfers, and case numbers
4. Answering and making telephone calls professionally
5. Using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel effectively
6. Supporting wider administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. A confident and clear telephone manner
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
10. A flexible and reliable approach to work
