Senior Product Developer

MacGregor Black is currently collaborating with a leading sporting goods brand in search of a Senior Product Developer. This is a permanent role based in London.
Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the development of next-generation products, from conceptualisation to market launch, ensuring alignment with brand vision and customer expectations.
* Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to drive product differentiation and market positioning.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with design and QA teams to translate product requirements into actionable plans, overseeing the entire product lifecycle to deliver superior user experiences.
* Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry developments, integrating relevant innovations into product designs to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product development team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
What are we looking for?
* 3-5 years of experience in product development within the sports industry, with a focus on performance products preferred.
* Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative products to market, demonstrating a deep understanding of user needs and market dynamics.
* Strong technical aptitude, with expertise in product design, materials science, and manufacturing processes relevant to sports apparel.
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Passion for sports, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering products that enhance performance and enjoyment for customers of all levels.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, product design, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
* Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools preferred.
