Pre-Sales & Bid Engineer is responsible for supporting and managing pre-sale and bid activities for
UK & NI from our UK London Office, reporting to the UK Director of Pre-Sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Serve as the pre-sales & bid process point of contact to the business management team across all UK business industries.
* Build & develop slideware and assets to support the proposal of requirements and offerings to clients.
* Support technical discussions with customers during the prospection phase (aka "discovery" and "qualification")
* Project-managing the existing bid process from receipt of tender through to contract award, manage project go/no-go meetings with all relevant internal stakeholders.
* Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, technical teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery.
* Manage and assist in the generation of technical and financial proposals for the opportunities Akkodis UK pursues. This includes assisting in the generation of relevant case studies as they relate to past projects and Akkodis capability matrices.
* Lead the creation of written bid responses which meet client requirements and specifications across all stages of the bid lifecycle (RFI/PQQ/RFP/ITT/Presentation)
* Project-managing the bid process from receipt of tender through to contract award.
* Liaising with subject matter experts across the business (sales, solutions, legal, finance, marketing etc) for their input to the bid
About You:
* Engineering, IT and/or business experience required – minimum 1-2 years.
* Pre-Sales and/or Bid Management experience
* Strong visual presentation skills, specifically working in PowerPoint.
* Experience working within deadline driven environment.
* Ability to self-motivate and own a project from inception to completion, leading and coordinating all parties as required.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Able to demonstrate both independent working/self-management and the ability to work well/lead pursuit teams.
* Regularly challenges thinking and is open to new ideas and ways of working.
* Excellent written skills and ability to articulate solutions and requirements.
