About the job
Join our brand team as the Marketing Insights Analyst, where your primary responsibility is to help us understand our data, our customers and our media performance. You will be pivotal to the brand team to ensure we are taking data driven decisions, targeting our customers correctly and knowing exactly what the external market conditions are like. On top of this, as part of the brand team, you will become a key ‘tasting officer’ trying our new products before they hit the Huts.
Day in the Life
* All about our customers- from regular reporting on what our customers buy, how much they spend, how frequently they purchase our products, with what device and on what channel you’ll be the expert on exactly how our customers shop. You will be responsible for weekly feeding back these insights and making sure we are appealing to our customers through our media and menu approach.
* Our brand positioning- where do we sit in the market? How are competitors brand shares changing? What are our key strengths and what are our barriers to entry that others are doing really well?
* Key business insights on external market factors. Are people buying more chicken than pizza this month? Is there a trend towards Collection rather than Delivery? How are macro factors impacting our customers? You will be key in leading the charge with external agencies to understand what is going on outside of our Pizza Hut eco-system.
* Love to close the loop at Pizza Hut and post-campaign reviews are a key part of this role to ensure we feed back to our key partners on how campaigns worked. Your role will be key for deep analysis of media channels and our creative messaging.
* Product launches are one of the best parts of the job- and we are going to need you to collaborate with cross-functional teams on the development of a comprehensive pricing strategy and report on the performance of these new products. What does the average basket of a customer adding our new Halloumi fries look like? How is a new lunchtime deal performing in different areas? These are key questions we will be looking for you to answer.
* Do we segment our strategies based on data insights? We’ll need your help in building predictive modelling and answering questions like this.
* Role will be responsible for the insights we share with our media agencies from our attribution modelling which drives the forward media strategy.
* Franchise level Local Store Marketing spend- and how effective it is.
* To develop omni-channel strategy and help with CRM optimisation through data analysis.
* Pricing strategy by working through financial analysis and consumer insights and shopping habits (and experience in designing pricing strategies)

* Degree nice to have but not essential.
* In insights and analytical roles- Up to 2 years in a past insights/analytical role for a consumer brand needed
* Management skills – Experience at cutting through the requests and identifying the key insights to go after
