Job Description: Project Scheduler
Location: Warrington
Salary: £45,000pa - £50,000a
Type: Permanent (Hybrid Working)
Our client, a world-leading design, engineering, and project management organisation, is seeking to recruit a Scheduler/Project Planner within the Industry Business Sector. This sector contains a number of blue-chip client organisations, and as a result, some projects are high profile with a high capital value. They are looking for individuals who can manage project scheduling activities on-site for the client and be a key member of the relevant site-based client team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic individual with experience in scheduling within industry sectors such as process, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, or nuclear.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provision of a Scheduling service to single or multiple projects within a portfolio.
* Experience with Scheduling applications in Primavera P6.
* Assist in the preparation and update of individual Project Schedules as required.
* Coordinate with the project QS to ensure cost/schedule integration.
* Ensure monthly updates of all schedules are completed before the end of the month for reporting.
* Carry out schedule control in accordance with client process and procedures.
* Support the Project Manager in all aspects of setting up the project Master Schedule.
* Initiate, maintain, and follow-up the Project Master Schedule and critical path for the Project.
* Perform technical schedule analysis for the schedule as well as updates and revisions during the project life.
* Make sure that all contractor schedules are in line with the Project Master Schedule.
* Validate accuracy and completeness of all Project Controls Scheduling information.
* Perform “What if” analyses and propose corrective actions to bring the project back on track.
* Draft the Time related sections of the monthly progress report and all other local reports with respect to schedule and progress.
* Assist in managing, controlling, and tracking the project cashflow against the baseline budget.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified (in an engineering or construction related subject).
* Conversant in all aspects of scheduling duties.
* Referral of potential problem areas to Team Leader.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and on own initiative.
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
