Finance Assistant - Remote
Salary: £24,000
Location: Warrington (Remote working)
Sector: Charity/Non for Profit
Job Purpose To administer and maintain the systems, processes and paperwork generated within the Finance team across the group companies.
Key Accountabilities
Finance Support:
* Sales Ledger invoice processing for the group
* Purchase Ledger and expenses support for the group
* Ensuring all invoice documentation / backup then filed accordingly onto the server
* Emailing sales invoices to external customers
* Liaising with internal staff on any queries relating to Sales / purchase invoice processing
* All records relating to sales and purchase ledger are up to date and accurate
Knowledge Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Previous proven track record of an administration role, with the ability to track and communicate team activities
* Attention to detail ensuring all information received is correct for processing
* Flexible approach to work required and the ability to work towards deadlines
* Good general IT skills including excel and Outlook
Desirable characteristics
* Understanding and proven track record of Business Operations
* Previous understanding and knowledge of Sage 200
