JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator
LOCATION: Ashford, Kent
SALARY: £15ph - £16ph
HOURS: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their team. If you have previous experience dealing with payroll within the education industry or working with the Local Government and Pension scheme, this could be the perfect role for you!
The day-to-day duties in your new job would be:
* Processing monthly payroll for staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Maintaining accurate records of employee salaries, deductions, and time sheets.
* Calculating and processing changes to employee salaries, including bonuses, raises, and overtime.
* Collaborating with HR to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
* Responding to payroll-related queries from staff members in a timely and professional manner.
* Working closely with the Finance team to reconcile payroll transactions.
