M&E (mechanical and engineering) Data Centre Supervisor
Radius has an exciting opportunity working for an established Data Centre in East London. This role provides coordination and delivery of core buildings M&E related services for staff and clients. To provide high quality maintenance supervision and predictive works, reduce reactive works through great planning and prevention, and ensure we maintain 100% uptime.

Role Description
Specific responsibilities for:
• Assisting in the development and execution of engineering works relating to M&E installed base
• Coordination/Liaison with contractors for maintenance, reactive works and projects
• Responsible for reviewing of risk assessments and method statements
• Responsible for supervising small works installation and building maintenance works
• Assist in ensuring site working practices are being upheld for the following;
Permit for Access
Hot working
Fire system isolation/operation
Permit for cable installation access
Contractors signing in procedures
• Responsible for signing off completed works by maintenance contractors or others as necessary
• Responsible for checking quality of maintenance
• Review and approve all Risk Assessments and Method Statements presented to the Operations department
• Oversee all works occurring in the operating buildings
• Act as point of reference for completion and final acceptance of works
• Provide technical operations information and support to all external parties in the preparation of works
• Ensure that all O&M data is correctly recorded, filed, and kept up to date
• Assist in carrying out audits and condition surveys, programme for works
Relevant Skills and Experience
Essential:
Must have previous data centre experience
• HVAC experience critical
• BMS experience critical
• Formal qualification(s) in related engineering subjects
• Knowledge of project management processes
• PC literate
• Ability to work independently accurately and logically.
• Experience managing budgets and reporting on financial governance
• Must be team focused – the site is so large that we cannot have people who don’t actively want to be part of the wider Buildings team
Desirable:
Previous experience of working to and within ISO regulated processes and procedures.
• Experience of statutory compliance (eg FGAS, L8, lighting, fire, FWT etc)
• Experience with IAC’s
• Mechanical engineering background
