A specialist services company in the Guildford area is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance function.
This is a newly created role to support the Accounts Manager by taking full ownership of accounts payable plus assisting with a wide range of other duties including sales ledger, billing, credit control, cash and banking. Further down the line, there will be the opportunity to get involved in higher level tasks as the organisation prides itself on developing staff and promoting from within.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
* Full responsibility for accounts payable, including posting/coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, monitoring and resolving queries, posting supplier payments, issuing remittances, and producing payment schedules.
* New contract billing, installing schedules and issuing sales invoices.
* Counting all operations cash, maintaining cashbook, processing and banking cheques, producing and publishing expense reports.
* Supporting with credit control.
