Job Duties:
Provide tailored academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting
Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
Implement specialised teaching techniques to help students overcome learning barriers
Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
Hold a relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with individuals with SEN
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in SEN education
Experience working with a diverse range of SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
Part-time hours, flexible schedule
Work in a supportive and collaborative educational environment
Potential travel to student homes or educational settings
