Job Description
* Providing support to the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks.
* Preparation of financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents.
* Handling accounts payable and receivable.
* Completing bank reconciliations.
* Entering financial information into appropriate software programs.
* Managing company ledgers.
* Processing invoices and payment runs.
* Assisting the finance department with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
* A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
* An eye for detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
