KM4HR are recruiting a HR Advisor to act in a consultative role, fostering relationships with a number of clients operating in the education sector, providing comprehensive HR support.
Travel in and around the East London area 3-4 days per week will be required.
Daily Responsibilities will include:
* Providing advice to management on employee relations and management issues; advising and supporting managers with grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management and performance management cases on site
* Composing and/or reviewing all relevant notes and letters and forwarding as needed
* To coach managers with HR procedures and challenge any non-compliance
* Actively monitor and work with relevant senior leaders, to manage all employee cases - instigating formal proceedings where necessary, supporting and at times composing all relevant letters and associated emails as needed
* Building and maintaining strong productive relationships with site managers and attend appropriate onsite meetings as required
* Update and advise on employment legislation and policy
* Assist with the design and delivery in particular HR areas, such as performance reviews and management, discipline and grievance management
* Provide full support to the site management team across all company HR policies & processes to enable the delivery of the entire employee lifecycle
* To take a proactive approach to supporting the management team in people management issues and general HR support and advice
* To provide an email and telephone support service to clients on a as required basis
We're looking for the following skills/experience:
* Previous HR experience gained at Advisor level essential
* Expeirence gained working within the education sector preferable
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Comprehensive understanding of the entire employee lifecycle
* Able to support change, consult and build relationships at all levels
* Ability to adapt and tailor support for numerous clients
