We are a social enterprise supporting people in need, promoting harmony and solidarity through music. During the pandemic, we delivered over 300 socially distanced concerts to people who are considered vulnerable due to Covid 19, with the support of an Arts Council grant. The project has been developed nationwide, featured in many medias including BBC News, the Times, NBC News, The Strad and the Independent, and endorsed by healthcare organisations and social prescribers.
We also provide free or ‘pay what you can’ music lessons to people who would benefit from them but are not be able to afford the full cost of them.
To enable our ambitious projects to happen, we are looking to hire a Freelance Administrator who will ‘play their part’ in spreading out harmony by:
-Connecting musicians with people who request concerts and lessons and helping organise each concert
-Reaching out to charitable organisations and networks who would benefit from our work
-Communicating with the director and establishing strategies to reach out to wider audiences
Similar responsibilities in the past and working within a musical or artistic organisation are desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone:
-Supportive of our work, keen to make a positive impact on society and strengthen communities
-Efficient with time and experienced at emailing, phoning and meeting people (live/online)
-Organised and able to keep track of different tasks
-Proactive and creative, happy to suggest new ideas and solutions
20h per month (equivalent to 5h per week)
Pay: £12.50 per hour
