Position Information
The Chantecaille Key Account Director will be responsible for managing key accounts for the United Kingdom retail accounts, maximizing sales opportunities, market share, and sustainable growth. The Key Account Director will work strategically with cross-Functional teams (Marketing, Retail, Marketing, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, Field Teams) to support the continued growth of the region. The ideal profile will posse the ability to think strategically, leverage analytical reporting to drive decisions with a strong team mentality.
Position Responsibilities
• In partnership with the General Manager UK, develop the strategy for each account: account planning, trade promotional plan service, eventing schedule.
• Responsible for full execution and optimization of Key Accounts to proactively drive shipments, net sales, and market share growth with their account.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the brand's position with key accounts where the retailer and Chantecaille are positioned well in the market.
• Monitor and control the account plan implementation against KPIs.
• Analyze POS information to adapt and improve the account plans.
• Provide key updates on account trends and planning to regional field leadership.
• Develop side by side comparisons for accounts for field leadership
• Serve as the key point of contact to retailers for account management and negotiation.
• Budget management: plan and monitor sales and control expenses to meet account P&L objectives.
• Attend retailer quarterly meetings as necessary, along with spring/fall meetings, and other sales related meetings.
• Partner with Marketing on new ideas, brand focus, launch strategies for all programming as well as ensuring all launch materials are available aligned to deadlines.
• Assist in all new launch planning from orders to tactical programming.
• Liaison with E-COM on brand priorities, opportunities, and innovation to grow the business.
• Liaison with Marketing, Education, Visual Merchandising on Special Events (both In Store & Digital).
Work with Sales Operations on purchase order tracking & reporting.
Position Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 10 years of experience in the Beauty and Skincare industry with 5+ years’ work experience in Sales/Account Management/Marketing.
• Business management skills including Forecasting, P&L, and strategic planning.
• Skilled in contract negotiations and implementation
• Able to influence and gain buy-in by building trustworthy relationships with integrity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, most notably Excel and PowerPoint.
• Luxury department store retailer experience desired.
• Systems Experience Preferred: SAP
