Senior National Account Manager - 12 Month FTC
£60,000 - £70,000 + benefits
Hybrid - South West Office
We are partnered with an established food business, that are looking for a Senior NAM to join the business on an initial 12 month FTC to cover for a maternity.
The company sell products that are loved by their consumer, with great brand loyalty and a strong hold in grocery customers. You will be responsible for key Grocery customers and discounters such as Aldi/Lidl etc. You will be fully P&L responsible and have autonomy to deliver the account strategy as you see fit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Craft and execute joint business plans aligned with our sales strategy, translating brand vision into actionable plans that drive profitable growth for both.
* Identify and seize business opportunities through data analysis and collaboration with our Category and Marketing teams.
* Utilise promotional spend to its fullest potential, delivering impactful and effective activities that resonate with both shoppers and stakeholders.
* Liaise with internal departments to meet customer needs and deadlines, fostering strong relationships and resolving conflicts with finesse.
* Ensure seamless communication both internally and externally, facilitating swift execution of initiatives for maximum impact.
* Drive the evolution of the products' presence within stores, leveraging category insights to enhance shelf visibility and consumer engagement.
* Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating competitor activity and recommending strategic adjustments to our business approach.
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail in administrative tasks, achieving accuracy in forecasts and invoices to keep operations running smoothly.
* Collaborate actively with the sales team to surpass sales targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Champion change and innovation, refusing to settle for the status quo and pushing boundaries to achieve excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Extensive experience in retail account management within the FMCG sector, coupled with a track record of brand portfolio management and commercial success.
* Proficient in market and financial data analysis, with strong communication abilities and the confidence to interact with senior management.
* Demonstrated team player with a drive for self-improvement, adaptability, and a full UK driving license.
