As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects within a specified time and the budget costs set.
You need to be comfortable working hands-on in a team, leading, implementing and delivering our hybrid agile/Waterfall project framework.

Essential skills/experience:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven track record delivering complex end-to-end technology, business change and implementation projects/programmes, ideally from an Insurance sector area or Insurance Technology business background.
* Business Analysis - hands-on BA role, identifying areas for improvements in efficiencies, concisely documenting business requirements, scoping projects and critically analysing business processes;
* Ensuring requirements are succinctly documented assisting all stakeholders involved in each project to ensure that they are clear on their deliverables and responsibilities;
* Liaise with stakeholders at all levels and technical experts to define business requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the sponsor, within the overall context of the business and IT strategies
* Managing multiple projects that may overlap or be interlinked when aligning with business requirements
* Knowledge and experience of a range of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile) are highly desirable
* Develop, validate, maintain and report on projects/BAU activities
* Responsible for defining, planning, managing, reporting on and communicating project activity
* Ability to be 'hands-on' and to persuade Key Stakeholders to align with change
* Understanding of software development and system implementation project lifecycles
* To actively liaise and engage with project team members to provide appropriate support to projects and pre-sales activities
* Represent and act as the link with wider PMO, resources and work closely with, the specified business unit(s) to ensure the PMO 'delivery partnership' supports, enhances, and delivers across the full portfolio of projects.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
* Demonstrable track record of successfully managing and leading projects to delivery in a professional services technology company or comparable environment.
* Excellent practical understanding of project management techniques, methods and tools.
* Experience of IT project management from inception and sign-off to a successful service transition;
* Engagement skills, including interviewing, facilitating, mediating and presenting, are essential. Excellent stakeholder management and analysis skills are essential.
* Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, including document analysis, process mapping, structured questioning, gap analysis and mind mapping
* Ensure regular effective communication with the Client and project team.
* Proficient use of software programs, including Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and Teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to develop strategies and organise tasks
* Leadership and interpersonal skills
* Working in a fast-paced environment
