Right now, we’re looking for a senior leader to join our Strategic Leadership Team and work on our next phase of Childrens Services having achieved “good” in our most recent Ofsted inspection. This will involve delivering the seamless transition of the Company back to the Council within the enhanced financial envelope available.
Committed to instilling a culture of high performance and child-centred practice throughout your team, you’ll develop policy proposals which deliver positive solutions that meet the challenges and opportunities facing Children’s Services including Education and SEND. Acting as a strong advocate for children, young people, and families in Worcestershire, and making sure their voices are heard and taken into account when developing strategies, you’ll also be ready to create opportunities for partnership working with everyone you work with.
To be successful in this vital role you’ll have extensive understanding of the complexities involved in delivering high quality children’s services and be familiar with the health sector and the opportunities involved. An inspirational and motivating communicator, you’ll also be committed to encouraging a strong customer focus and possess strong commercial and financial management skills.
