We are a family-run self catering holiday accommodation in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. Our privately-owned wooden holiday lodges, cabins and cottage are nestled in the quiet countryside of Dalbeattie. We are looking to expand our team by onboarding a confident and keen apprentice – it could be you!
In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:
1. Manage bookings on Super Control. You will become a super-user on this system through opening up bookings, checking the details, liaising with other departments to ensure rotas match up and communicating any customer needs.
2. Link information from Super Control CRM to Airbnb and other websites.
3. Understand and navigate our finance software, Xero, by uploading invoices and saving appropriately.
4. Take bookings over the phone and by computer, having great product knowledge to answer any customer queries.
5. Complete spreadsheets on Numbers to track information on each individual lodge, updating information on crib sheets.
6. Track list of facilities management such as purchasing costs for cleaning materials for lodges via Numbers spreadsheet, comparing this information to streamline and reduce costs.
