Technical Author and Illustrator
We are currently partnering with a local manufacturing and engineering business who are the World leaders and experts in their field. With proven experience and pioneering techniques, our client offers high quality products and service with the capability to design and manufacture onsite. Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Author and Illustrator to join their team near the Bournemouth and Christchurch area.
As Technical Author and Illustrator, you will be responsible for generating and Managing Technical Publications for installation and maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities as Technical Author and Illustrator
* You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Technical Publications including (not limited to) Component Maintenance manuals, Training manuals, Maintenance Training manuals and Installation instructions.
* You will understand and work with expected industry standards whilst supporting and identifying methods of publishing tools that are required to achieve these standards.
* Regularly liaise with multi-disciplined teams throughout the business including, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality
Experience asTechnical Author and Illustrator
* Can work autonomously or as part of a team.
* Be capable of communicating with customers and suppliers effectively and professionally.
* Flexibility in working hours as necessary to adhere whilst adhering to strict regulatory specifications and guidance.
* A Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Degree would be desirable.
* Experience working within a manufacturing and engineering environment would be highly advantageous.

* £45-50K Basic Salary DOE
* 25 days holiday plus BH
* 37-hour week
* Early finish Fridays
