We are currently hiring for a National Account Manager for a premium consumer goods business.
Our client is a consumer goods company who are growing so quickly they need to hire another person for its National Account team. They have several brands that are #1 and #2 in the categories they operate in and still have plenty of white space to develop further into.
They are a small, hard-working group of people, but have fun and enjoy their successes as a team. The leadership team encourages high levels of autonomy and offers a lot of freedom to deliver targets/ objectives however the team sees fit.
This National Account Manager will be responsible for the relationship with key retail customers, the exact account base will be decided in conjunction with the successful applicant but it will likely be Currys/Argos/ WH Smith. You will own the commercials, trading terms and performance of your account base and will be tasked with continuing the fast growth trajectory this channel is already enjoying. You will be working with a portfolio of 5-6 brands with several SKUs underneath this, so we are looking for someone who loves to be busy and likes dealing with high volume of products.
The accounts are performing well and there is a lot of upside potential with a few key brands, so this is a high-profile role with plenty of room to realistically, over achieve on budgets etc.
We are looking for someone who is already operating within the National Account arena, ideally with retail experience but this is negotiable if you have good consumer hard-line experience.
This is a home-based role with the requirement to travel to customers and the office when required.
