PURPOSE
The Director Marketing and Business Development, Foot & Ankle (F&A), International will have responsibility for the growth of the F&A portfolio in the International regions. You will partner very closely with the US based teams for core upstream projects and will have downstream responsibility for coordination and communication with the International regions and countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES and ROLE
* with key stakeholders play a key role to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share, improve revenue generation and increase penetration of our technologies, including active participation in due diligence and acquisition activities
* the Core team process ensuring it is an efficient, high impact and engaging process
* the marketing lead for F&A global meetings, including international focus at GSM
* with R&D, Marketing, RAQA and key functions to ensure international needs are incorporated into the development and execution of new product development and launch plans
* and manage an international events calendar to leverage CONMED’s presence as a global company
* strong and effective relationships with International commercial leaders and supporting functions, ensuring that there is clear communication, awareness and alignment of market needs and priorities.
* the liaison with International design team members and/or HCP consultants in gathering VOC feedback on new product opportunities
* the marketing representative for the OEM NPD process, support external technology assessments and in region distribution agreements
* and ensure successful achievement of International marketing, training and clinical programs for assigned products.
* and manage strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers across the International territories
* with US marketing, sales and supply chain function to guide and support selling activities to meet sales revenue and operating earnings targets, backorder management, and overall product lifecycle support, including product portfolio management (i.e. SKU management)
* out other tasks as requested by your manager
Spend significant time in market with the local and regional teams.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree essential, Marketing/Business Administration (preferred). MBA (preferred).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years’ marketing / in-line brand management experience in the medical device sector
Prior experience in F&A Sales and Marketing

Location and travel
* role will be a remote role based in Europe.
* position will require significant international travel.
* to work a flexible schedule with occasional need for overnight and weekend travel, subject to management approval.
