A Senior Marine Engineer is required to join a leading marine defence organisation designing the next generation of nuclear submarines.
As a Senior Marine Engineer you will be working directly with the Design Manager providing input and influencing the design of: systems, equipments, material selection and layout decisions.
As a Senior Marine Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
* Youll act as the first point of contact for the design team for through life queries.
* Youll support systems and equipment level supportability analysis
* Youll pass legislation of supportability guidance documents capturing and recording: LfE, Assumptions, Threats, Opportunities, and mitigations.
As a Senior Marine Engineer, you must have experience in the following:
* You must have previous experience of the specification, planning and delivery of submarine maintenance in a waterfront setting.
* You must also have previous hands on mechanical experience with whole ship system awareness.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex navy operator to play a key role in the design of the next generation of nuclear submarines.
This role is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite in either Devon, Bristol, Clyde or Barrow.
