Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be developing both existing and new business, handling queries and enquiries, developing and maintaining client relationships and providing excellent levels of customer service to develop a long term customer base. Previous experience in a similar role is a must, and a driver’s license and access to your own vehicle will be essential due to the rural location. Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for handling incoming calls and converting into sales.
2. Preparing quotations and following up with projects from enquiry, all the way to order stage.
3. Play an integral role in developing the business, coming up with new ideas to improve the site and increase overall turnover.
4. Focusing on developing existing customers and client base by generating new leads.
5. Cold calling new business if a potential opportunity or lead is identified.
6. Actively build and maintain successful relationships with customers.
7. Review plans and specifications, consult customers to ensure they are purchasing the correct products for their needs.
8. Handle technical queries when required.
