HR ADVISOR
Wellingborough based, hybrid 3 days in the office, up to £40,000 per year depending on experience plus benefits
This may be the first advert you’ve clicked on, or perhaps the hundredth – whichever number it is, we know that job searching can be exhausting. It leaves you wondering: what is it that you really want? So, rather than trying to entice you into reading another long boring job advert, let's talk about the most important factor: you.
So, what is in it for you? You will join a relatively new, growing team where you are given the freedom to make a real change in an established business with over 250 years of history. You will join a team who celebrates each other’s successes, whether that be inside or outside work; we understand the importance of a work-life balance and acknowledging what motivates you. You will bring your expertise to the table to drive forward a people agenda where your voice is genuinely heard and appreciated. And foremost, you will be treated as you, an individual.
As a HR Advisor, your day to day will include:
1. Working with the business to provide effective and timely first line HR advice and support on all people related matters, ensuring guidance is in line with employment law and best practice
2. Supporting the embedding, practice, and recognition award of company behaviours
3. Guiding and supporting managers with end-to-end case management for all formal casework, including investigations, disciplinary, capability and/or grievance processes, ensuring appropriate application of employment law considerations and timely closure of such cases
4. Responding to HR queries and managing all aspects of HR issues across the employee lifecycle
5. Supporting the HR Director and HR Partners in the implementation of key strategic HR programmes and initiatives
6. Support the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
Interested? Why wouldn’t you be! If you consider yourself to be a curious and creative thinker with some of the experience or skills mentioned below, then we would love to hear from you.
Requirements:
1. Proven ER Case Management experience and sound knowledge of UK Employment Law is essential for this role
2. Strong and proven experience of generalist HR experience in a stand-alone, high paced advisory role, delivering tailored HR support
3. Confidence in what you do, with the ability to make flexible decisions under pressure
4. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the business
