Due to continuedgrowth, we are now seeking a FinanceAnalyst to join our Finance team at ourAppleton Thornsite.
As Finance Analyst you will supportthe sub-contracting team and produce a set of ManagementAccountants for the Business Unit on a weekly and monthly basis.Closely aligning the requirements of the Business Unit ManagementTeam ensuring that reporting deadlines are adheredto.
This is a full time, permanent positionMonday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm,offering a competitive salary, package and the opportunity to workwith a forward thinking market leader.

Job responsibilities ofFinance Analystinclude:
* Preparation ofaccurate, timely and user friendly financial and commercialinformation, including daily and weeklyreporting.
* Assist in enhancing the businessunit internal financial controls and procedures and supporteffective implementation within the Operational Finance team.Producing a variety of Revenue and cost reports that are usedacross the company to analyse sub contractorspend.
* Analysing the data to understandvariances and work with the various operational managers toidentify risks & opportunities to improve financialresults.
* Producing accurate and detailed weeklyfinance reports and set of accounts.
* Use adetailed set of KPI’s as business performance driver to improve theperformance of the business. Reporting on revenue and cost trendsand variances to support operations.
* Liaisingwith the Sub contract manager to ensure all Revenue and Cost areaccounted for correctly in the week.
* Use theweekly accounts to produce monthly management accounts, throughappropriate Accrual and Prepayments.
* To liaisewith other departments as required ensuring the reporting deadlinesof the organisation are met.
* Work alongsideManagers within the Business Unit to produce various reforecast andbudgets throughout the year. Presenting these budgets to Directorsand Senior Management within bothbusinesses.
* Ensure financial controls are inplace to make sure interim and year-end financial accounts areaccurate, working with external auditors in a professional mannerwhen required.
* Continuous review of processesas intended to enhance in terms of accuracy andtimeliness.
* To provide support in a number ofgeneral, non-specific areas to maintain the success of the businessand on ad-hoc projects as they arise.
* Toprovide holiday cover for various BusinessUnits.
Qualifications
Toapply for the role of Finance Analystyou will possess the following skills, experiences andqualifications:
* Studying towardsAAT/CIMA
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Officewith Strong Excelskills.
* Practical experience of financialanalysis and reporting.
* Operational accountingexperience.
* Experience of working within theLogistics industry.
