Job Title: Sustainability & Energy Consultant
Location: Remote (with monthly travel to London)
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Undertaking energy assessments/modelling & EPCs for new and existing buildings.
2. Undertaking TM59 overheating assessments for new build projects.
3. Preparing energy strategy and decarbonisation reports.
4. Liaison with construction team professionals and clients to provide advice on meeting legislative targets.
5. Providing advice on reducing energy, CO2 emissions, and construction costs.
6. Attendance at meetings to contribute to the building design process.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
* New Build Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) (Minimum 1 year's experience)
* Good understanding and knowledge of construction, sustainability, and building regulations.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Organised and structured with a professional outlook and good interpersonal skills.
* IES/Design Builder competent.
* Effective team player and highly driven.
* Clean driving license and access to own vehicle.
Additional Skills:
* Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA)
* BREEAM Experience
* Thermal modelling competent
* Report writing
