Deputy Nursery Manager
Salary : Up to £35,000

To be considered for the role of Deputy Nursery Manager you will have:
* A minimum of a Level 3 Childcare related qualification
* GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014)
* Previous Early Year Management or Leadership experience
* Excellent knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED frameworks
About the Nursery:
The Day Nursery is a home from home setting proving care for children from 3 months to 5 years.
Our client is looking for a dedicated passionate individual to help lead the team and provide care to children, with help and support from the Manager and the Managing Director.
You MUST be passionate about working in Early Years and committed to the safeguarding and care of children at the Nursery.
With a minimum of a Level 3 full and relevant early years or childcare qualification, you will have experience of meeting the requirements of Early Years Foundation Stage. Leadership experience necessary and would be suitable for a Room Leader looking to progress too.

The role of a Deputy Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves:
* Deputising for the Manager in their absence
* Assisting with the day to day running of the Nursery
* Assisting with training and carrying out staff appraisals
* Keeping accurate records for both children and members of staff
* Leading daily and weekly meeting, alongside the management team
* Ensuring the Nursery is compliant with internal and external policies and procedures
* Developing good relationships with the Nursery team and external agencies
* Ensuring the highest level of care is being delivered
* Being responsible for a number of key children as when needed
* Ensuring there are good staffing levels and when needed assist with the recruitment process
