You will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects related to the replacement of Delt and Plymouth City Council’s HCM system.The role will be hybrid working, with 2 or 3 days a week (on average) on-site. This of course can be flexible and will be dictated to by project requirements.This opportunity is expected to commence around mid-May (could be sooner) and will last between 12 and 18 months.Listed below are some key responsibilities and requirements – if you fit the bill, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategiesVendor Selection and Contract Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors throughout the project lifecycleProject Execution and Monitoring: Oversee project activities, manage a dedicated project team, and monitor progress. Conduct regular status meetings, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as neededData Migration and Systems Integration: Collaborate with IT and data management teams to plan and execute data migration activities. Ensure seamless integration between the new HCM system and other relevant systemsQuality Assurance and User Training: Develop and implement quality assurance processes.
