Group Human Resources Director
Our client is a leading European expert IT and secure network services. Headquartered in France, the business has a presence in 20 offices across seven European countries and is poised for further European expansion. Having gained significant institutional investment from one of Europe’s leading growth funds, the company is focused on further expanding market share, developing product development, and strengthening its commercial and marketing function. As a result of this investment and significant growth, the business is now looking to appoint a Group HRD, reporting directly to the CEO. This role will be part of the Executive Committee, including direct exposure to the Private Equity shareholders. The Group HRD will be tasked with scaling and developing a ‘best in class’ global function to meet the strategic and growth ambitions of the business over the coming years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Global Strategy
Design and execute a Global HR Vision, Strategy and Policy in coherence with the Group's global growth strategy. Implement Group HR policies into operational plans across local HR teams in Europe.
2. Learning & Development
Partnering with business leaders to align people practices and shape their vision to drive high performance.
3. Leadership
Lead the team and manage all aspects of the HR function (recruitment, training, skills development, career management, animation of staff legal bodies, Comp & Ben, payroll strategy, and disciplinary sanctions). Instilling the deployment of group practices and reporting KPI. Be the reference point of contact on international HR issues. Inspire a Group HR strategy with all its components – recruitment, image, promotions, training, mobility, etc.
4. Operational Human Resources
Drive and ensure the application of the group’s legal, compliance, regulatory or jurisprudential provisions at local and Group level. Organize management in order to produce the best service (recruitment, training, litigation management, compliance with social legislation, reliability of payroll data, etc.) at Group and Country level.
Experience required
Proven experience in leading a Global Human Resources function, of a similar size, ideally with a strong international dimension. Strong strategic and operational HR background - operational capacity to handle practical tasks, coupled with high-level vision. A true generalist, you will have to master all aspects of the HR function, while having the ability to make proposals and innovate. Prior experience in a company with a Private Equity Shareholder would be advantageous. Entrepreneurial spirit, passion, and a drive to succeed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A "problem-solving" approach, responsive, effective & ability to prioritize. Experience or interest in Technology sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
