Position: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Egham, UK
Role Overview: As a Security Installation Engineer at Core Group's client, you'll play a vital role in installing and maintaining high-quality security systems, specializing in secure area entry management, surveillance equipment, and commercial door entry systems. Your work will primarily focus on ensuring installations meet stringent security standards within sectors such as aviation, transport, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend daily briefings at Head Office and depart promptly for tasks at 0730 or 1930.
* Work as part of a small team (2-man) to complete installations within high-security environments.
* Maintain flexibility to work occasional night shifts Sun-Fri.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, effectively communicating with clients.
* Provide daily progress updates to the Project Manager, submitting written reports as required.
* Follow company and security protocol procedures for installations.
* Complete project paperwork and time sheets promptly.
* Ensure tools, uniform, PPE, and equipment are kept clean and serviceable.
* Adhere to Company and Site Health, Safety, and Environmental Procedures.
* Report any dangerous occurrences or incidents internally and externally.
* Participate in supplier and specialist training for career development.
* Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Clean and proven employment record for security clearance.
* Full Driving License.
* Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Advantageous).
* Valid CSCS Card required.
* IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space Certification (Advantageous).
* Experience with intruder systems preferred.
* Experience with access systems preferred.
* Experience with CCTV systems and data installations preferred.
