Behaviour Support Assistant
Teaching Personnel is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within one of our SEN schools in the Plymouth area.
The role will be full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, term time only, starting from September 2024 to the end of the academic year. This is a perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience within an education-based setting, working with children who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Pay: Between £85 - £90 dependent on experience
Key responsibilities:
Support children’s classroom learning and activities and promote inclusion throughout the school
Establish positive relationships with pupils, working with them on an individual or classroom needs basis
Support pupils in both an academic and social capacity
Ensure the needs of pupils' EHCPs are met
Desirable skills:
Confidence dealing with challenging behaviour
Previous experience working with children
Positive & motivating attitude
A good level of Maths and English
Full UK Driving Licence
