Lead Credit Modelling Data Analyst £65k-£74k, +10% funding
1 day a week in the office closest to you.

Are you a seasoned business analyst with expertise in credit risk modelling data? Looking for a Lead Credit Modelling Data Analyst to join a forward-thinking team, dedicated to prioritizing customer-centric solutions. As a leader in this role, you'll have the opportunity to guide a team of skilled business analysts and process controllers. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the journey towards cloud-based solutions for a well-known banking institution.
Your Responsibilities:
* Perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses, offering valuable recommendations for business deliberation.
* Oversee governance and control tasks, encompassing the monitoring of deliverables, assessment of meeting minutes, reporting on process and control landscapes, and directing efforts for control remediation.
* Take charge of delivering data that adheres to regulatory standards for credit modelling.
* Initiate change endeavours aimed at optimizing the efficiency and efficacy of Credit Insight and Analytics analytical outcomes.
* Establish and sustain structured procedures for evaluating business risk profiles and decisions while aligning with regulatory and risk policy mandates.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience in banking or financial services, coupled with a comprehension of risk systems, methodologies, and operational procedures.
* Possession of a degree in a quantitative discipline, accompanied by hands-on experience in data-centric analysis.
* Proven track record of successfully executing projects across diverse business sectors, stakeholder dynamics, procedural intricacies, and technological hurdles.
* Expertise in business analysis, data management encompassing quality assurance, metadata oversight, data structuring, and governance.
* Proficiency in SAS or Python to extract insights and drive informed decision-making.
* Familiarity with AWS.
* Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with a keen ability to prepare documents meeting regulatory standards.
Benefits:
* Salary up to £74,220,
* +10% benefit funding, +10% pension funding
* At the top end, the package is worth £89,064 (base + pension + benefit funding)
